Founded over 50 years ago and headquartered in Kansas City with 30 attorneys, this is a full-service law firm representing businesses and individuals across a broad range of legal matters. Our practice includes civil litigation, real estate, corporate law, business transactions, and construction amongst others.
Requirements
- MO bar
- Recent commercial litigation and/or bankruptcy experience
Responsibilities
- Represent businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation matters
- Manage all phases of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, and trials in state and federal courts.
- Draft and argue dispositive and discovery motions, conduct legal research, and prepare briefs, memoranda, and other litigation-related documents.
- Advise clients on litigation risk, settlement strategy, and dispute resolution while maintaining regular communication throughout the course of representation.
