About The Position
Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 200 firm in Dallas. This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation associate interested in sophisticated commercial disputes, business litigation, and complex civil litigation while gaining meaningful responsibility and direct client exposure.
Requirements
- 2–6 years of commercial litigation or complex business litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong academic credentials
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted
Responsibilities
- Handling sophisticated contract disputes, business torts, corporate disputes, and other complex commercial matters
- Practicing in state and federal courts
- Drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
- Taking and defending depositions and working with fact and expert witnesses
- Managing written discovery, document production, and other aspects of complex litigation
- Participating in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
- Independently managing significant portions of matters while collaborating with partners and clients
