Requirements

Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
Proven experience in commercial insurance sales or a related field, with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and services.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Skilled in time management and prioritization, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Proficiency in using insurance agency management systems and digital tools for client management and communication.
Self-directed and goal-oriented, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored insurance solutions to meet their commercial coverage needs.
Actively pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, cold calling, networking, and leveraging referrals.
Provide detailed consultations and assessments of clients' insurance requirements, ensuring they receive appropriate and competitive coverage options.
Collaborate with underwriters and insurance carriers to negotiate and secure customized policies on behalf of clients.
Remain informed of market trends, emerging risks, and changes in insurance regulations to provide up-to-date guidance and advice to clients.
Retain and grow a portfolio of commercial insurance clients by delivering exceptional service and proactively addressing their evolving needs.
Conduct periodic policy reviews to ensure adequate and accurate coverage for assigned clients.
Maintain detailed client records and documentation in the agency management system.
Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and community activities to enhance company visibility and reputation.
Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to achieve team goals and business objectives.
