About The Position

This role involves marketing new and renewal commercial insurance accounts to carriers and brokers, negotiating coverage terms, pricing, and conditions, and reviewing submissions for completeness and accuracy. The Commercial Lines Placement Broker will also develop and maintain relationships with insurance market partners, assist producers and account managers with coverage strategy, prepare proposals, and monitor market trends.

Requirements

• Experience in commercial insurance placement, underwriting, or brokerage preferred
• Knowledge of commercial lines coverages and insurance markets
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Property & Casualty insurance license preferred
