About The Position

C3 is seeking a Client Manager to provide fast, effective service for the day-to-day needs of mid-sized and moderately complex clients. The Client Manager will be knowledgeable in coverages, carrier guidelines, underwriting, and legislative changes, while maintaining relationships with clients and carrier representatives. This role will also assist in suggesting new lines of coverage for existing clients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proficient with technology, and a strong team player.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Expertise and experience in managing day-to-day servicing of accounts (endorsements, audits, invoicing, etc.).
  • Attention to detail.
  • Well organized.
  • Excellent at math.
  • Great written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with technology and quick learner.
  • Team player attitude.
  • Willingness to step up to other duties from time to time.
  • Active P&C license.
  • Experience managing Construction accounts preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the main, day-to-day contact for clients in your book.
  • Prepare Applications and other documents required for a submission.
  • Perform Contract reviews for insurance requirements compliance.
  • Prepare Certificates of Insurance, Invoices, and Finance Agreements.
  • Process Endorsements, Audits.
  • Analyze and compare current exposures to develop renewal or new business specifications for marketing.
  • Conduct marketing, negotiate rates, and review quotes and coverages for competitiveness and accuracy.
  • Review and summarize marketing results and prepare proposals.
  • Monitor and manage the renewal marketing and bind process, in partnership with the Producer (and at times with a Client Executive).
  • Check binders, policies, endorsements, and audits for accuracy.
  • Prepare summaries and/or schedules of coverage for clients.
  • Participate in the claims process, including claim submission, follow-up, and overall communication.
  • Ensure financial aspects related to invoicing and premium financing are performed correctly and timely.
  • Maintain files in accordance with company policy and professional standards outlined by the Department of Insurance.
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills for both client and internal communication.
