About The Position

The Associate Account Manager (AAM) plays a key role in supporting the Client Service team and gaining hands-on exposure to the insurance brokerage business. This position is ideal for individuals looking to build a strong foundation and grow their career within a fast-paced, client-focused environment. The AAM is responsible for completing specific service and transactional tasks on an assigned book of business under the guidance of the Account Manager, Senior Account Manager, or Account Executive. This role requires a detail-oriented, process-driven mindset and the ability to manage a high volume of work with accuracy and organization. The AAM is accountable for maintaining data integrity within the service system of record and ensuring documentation is complete and compliant. As skills develop, the AAM will take on stretch assignments and gain increased exposure to client interaction, setting the stage for future career advancement. The AAM works closely with the Client Service team, taking primary direction from the Senior Account Manager or Account Manager, while learning best practices and building core technical and professional skills.

Requirements

  • Must hold or be willing to obtain appropriate state P&C Insurance license within 90 days of hire

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day client service by issuing certificates and Auto ID cards and assisting with policy-related requests.
  • Review, process, and check policies, endorsements, audits, and quotes for accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate invoice requests and manage loss runs to support renewals and ongoing client needs.
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals, renewal materials, and loss summary analyses.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the system of record, documenting all client communications and policy activity.
  • Contribute to new business efforts and support firm-wide client retention goals.
  • Follow established documentation, compliance, and E&O procedures to ensure accuracy and risk mitigation.
  • Engage in corporate initiatives and collaboration efforts that promote accountability, learning, and team success.
  • Take on stretch assignments that build skills, expand knowledge, and support long-term career growth.
