Commercial Lines Account Manager – Property & Casualty Location: Remote At Alera Group, our Property & Casualty team helps businesses protect their assets, manage risk, and plan confidently for the future. We’re seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager who will support risk strategy, client service excellence, and operational accuracy. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years of industry‑related insurance experience
  • Active Property & Casualty insurance license
  • Strong working knowledge of commercial insurance practices and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team

Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day servicing for assigned commercial client accounts
  • Build and maintain strong long‑term client relationships through proactive communication
  • Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to internal and external clients
  • Coordinate with the Commercial Sales team to service commercial accounts, including: New business placement, Renewals, Endorsements, Cancellations, Audits, Billing and financing, Certificates, schedules of insurance, EPI, and auto ID cards, Payments and customer inquiries
  • Address client concerns promptly and involve appropriate internal partners as needed
  • Notify leadership of significant issues and actions taken to resolve them
  • Ensure all work complies with insurance laws, company policies, and established procedures
  • Support retention and account stability through accurate execution and responsive service
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless account handling and client satisfaction
