Responsibilities include compiling applications, negotiating with underwriters, preparing proposals, obtaining additional information from clients or underwriters, and resolving policy and coverage concerns. The ability to communicate negative actions to clients with proposed solutions is essential. The role also involves binding or placing coverage with appropriate carriers, staying current on insurance products and market developments, and maintaining electronic file information in the Agency Management System.
