About The Position

As a Commercial Lender at National Exchange Bank & Trust, you will build meaningful business relationships and help customers achieve their financial goals by providing guidance on their financial needs. The role involves developing new business, building relationships with new and existing customers, and managing and retaining a portfolio of profitable lending relationships. You will identify lending opportunities, recommend solutions based on customer needs, negotiate loan structures, coordinate lending documentation, and grow customer relationships in support of individual and Bank production goals.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with customers, prospects, referral sources, and coworkers.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate financial information, credit risk, collateral, and lending opportunities.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through phone, email, in-person conversations, presentations, and negotiations.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing customer and business needs.
