UK Commercial Lawyer - Relocate to the UK! - Remote
About The Position
We are seeking a UK Commercial Lawyer with approximately 2-4 years of Post-Qualifying Experience (PQE) to join our legal consultancy. This role involves working directly with clients, drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, and potentially gaining experience in corporate law (startup capital raising or M&A), employment law, and technology law. As a legal consultancy, we focus on specific areas of practice and do not handle disputes or litigation, allowing us to consider candidates with international legal qualifications. UK qualifications are highly valued but not essential, and experience in other common law jurisdictions is also welcomed. The role requires a tech-savvy, independent, and efficient individual who is comfortable working autonomously and directly with clients.
Requirements
- Around 2-4 years PQE within general commercial law
- Experience in private practice or in-house environments
- Commercial contract drafting and review experience
- Personable, with experience working directly with clients
- Tech-savvy, able to operate technology platforms
- Independent, comfortable working autonomously
- Efficient, works smart and gets things done
- Valid working rights in the UK (ideally)
- Passport from Australia, New Zealand, or Canada with prior practice in that jurisdiction (for visa support)
