Commercial Kitchen Service Technician
About The Position
Bildon Parts & Service is seeking experienced technicians with expertise in commercial cooking equipment, HVAC/refrigeration, or both. The ideal candidate will be able to confidently diagnose and repair equipment issues in commercial kitchens. Combo technicians with both hot-side and cold-side experience are highly encouraged to apply, but experienced specialists in either area are also welcome. Bildon Parts & Service has been providing repair and maintenance for commercial cooking, refrigeration, warewashing, beverage, and ice machines in southern Michigan for over 50 years. Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC/R service experience
- Hands-on commercial cooking equipment repair experience
- EPA certification for HVAC/R technicians
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Valid driving record that meets company safety standards
- Successful background check and drug screen
- At least 18 years old
Nice To Haves
- Experience servicing a wide range of commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment
- CFESA certification
- Manufacturer/factory training credentials
- Experience with ice machines and warewashing equipment
- Comfort using digital tools and service software
Responsibilities
- Service and repair commercial cooking and/or HVAC/refrigeration equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and gas-related issues based on your experience
- Diagnose equipment issues accurately and efficiently
- Provide excellent customer service
- Participate in the on-call rotation
