About The Position

Pro Tech Mechanical, a Crete United Company, is seeking a plumber to join their growing team. This role focuses on professional customer interactions, identifying new sales opportunities, and upselling efforts. The plumber will collaborate with management and supervisors to ensure outstanding customer service, safety compliance, and timely, budget-conscious job completion. The position involves providing customers with comprehensive plumbing solutions for their commercial needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years’ Commercial Plumbing Service experience.
  • Active TSBPE Journeyman or Master Plumber License.
  • Current Texas driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (BPAT) certification.

  • Respond to, diagnose, and resolve plumbing emergencies.
  • Perform routine inspections of plumbing and drainage systems.
  • Install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures/equipment in commercial structures.
  • Address punch list items for construction projects.
  • Handle warranty calls.
  • Assist on construction projects as needed.
  • Perform cable inspections of underground sewer via camera and equipment.
  • Operate and maintain line locating equipment.
  • Assist in the cleaning/jetting of sanitary lines as needed.
  • Identify issues with installations.
  • Use transits, lasers, locators, and other tools.
  • Operate excavation equipment required to perform project objectives and tasks.
  • Work with project management in review of installation to identify any areas of concern.
  • Locate and mark issues based on blueprints and locating devices.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements for the position on a site-specific basis.
  • Perform other various plumbing work as needed.
  • Assist in gathering all necessary information to submit to the estimation team for quote-related work.
  • Prepare bids, budgets, and cost estimates.
