About The Position

The primary role of the Commercial Insurance Specialist is to ensure that our patient’s insurance is verified accurately and in a timely manner. The ideal candidate is goal driven, detail oriented, self-motivated, able to multitask, and can communicate effectively and relate comfortably with people across levels and functions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly efficient, timely and customer service-oriented support to the field offices.
• Assist the Commercial Team Lead in optimizing the efficiency of the Central Verification Team to enable the offices to better serve our patients through building teamwork and encouraging excellence in service.
• Work at a pace that allows the offices to provide quick and compassionate care.
• Responsible for answering specific inquiries from the field offices, including Hunt Group phone calls.
• Responsible for updating subscriber information and current insurance plan information for DentaPro patients.
• Responsible for following up on escalated communications according to protocols.
• Verifying Commercial Insurance patients for General and Ortho procedures.
• Respond to rapid verification requests from field offices when required.
• Assist with other office duties and projects to support the field offices as needed.
