Requirements

Proven experience as an Insurance Producer, preferably with a focus on commercial lines.
Hold a valid state insurance license for Property and Casualty (or ability to obtain one within the required timeframe).
Strong sales, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain trust with clients and partners.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to analyze risks and offer personalized and strategic insurance solutions.
Knowledge of commercial insurance products, industry practices, and legal guidelines.
Proficiency in using CRM software, Microsoft Office, and other sales tools.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

Build and manage a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, serving as the primary contact to address business insurance needs.
Develop sales strategies and proactively seek out potential clients through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other lead-generation methods.
Assess clients' business needs and risks to recommend suitable insurance coverage solutions, including property, liability, workers' compensation, professional liability, and more.
Collaborate with underwriters to create customized insurance coverage options for clients.
Maintain a deep understanding of insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Regularly review and renew policies to ensure continued relevance and competitive pricing for clients.
Educate clients on risk management practices, policy details, and claims processes.
Achieve or exceed individual and team sales goals while ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.
Represent the company at industry events, networking opportunities, and trade shows to promote brand awareness.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales processes, and policy renewals in the CRM system.
