About The Position

Established Insurance agency seeking to hire a Commercial Insurance Account Executive. This role involves advising and consulting with clients on their insurance coverages, working closely with producers to market new and renewal business, and managing the workflow of an assigned book of business. The position requires a full knowledge of insurance products and usages, client-facing interaction, and the ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with partners, carriers, and vendors. The role also includes processing endorsements, placement requests, invoicing, and preparing certificates, proposals, and policy summaries.

Requirements

10+ Years working with middle market accounts in agency environment
Ability to meet/w clients and discuss insurance mitigation strategies
Must be organized
Ability to delegate workflow
Ability to multi task
Strong math & technical skills
Experienced with AMS 360 or equivalent agency management system

Responsibilities

Full knowledge of insurance products and usages
Ability to advise and consult with clients regarding their insurance coverages
Client Facing
Work closely with Producer to Advise Clients and Market new and renewal business
Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow
Maintain accounts in accordance with organizational guidelines
Service and monitor account activity
Call existing insured to compliment or “round out” personal accounts
Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client’s business
Perform special projects as directed by the VP, Commercial Lines
Review policies and coverage for accuracy and rating calculations
Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing
Complete and prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries and reviews
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with our partners, carriers and vendors
Responsible for marketing process & quoting new and renewal business
