Westland Insurance Group Ltd. is growing and has a new opportunity for a Commercial Insurance Advisor. This role is based in Grande Prairie, AB, with flexibility to hire anywhere in Canada. The ideal candidate is passionate about insurance, dedicated to providing exceptional client service, and eager to grow their insurance industry knowledge and experience. As a Commercial Insurance Advisor, you will promote and educate clients on insurance products, manage client relationships, and contribute to the growth of the company's presence in the local community.

Requirements

• Track record of achieving sales targets
• Ability to build authentic client relationships
• Master time manager, able to prioritize workload
• Demonstrates confidentiality and discretion
• Insurance broker license Level 2 or working towards CAIB/CIP (financial support provided!)
• 2-5 years of commercial insurance experience
• Inexhaustible curiosity and look for opportunities to grow your career

Responsibilities

• Promote and educate clients on insurance products
• Take ownership of client relationships
• Help grow the company's presence and profile in the local community
• Deliver superior customer service that promotes client retention
• Uncover clients’ business challenges and act as a client advocate identifying their needs and providing recommendations
• Assist clients with their insurance needs by utilizing basic knowledge of underwriting principles
