About The Position

Shamrock Trading Corporation and RTS Insurance Solutions Inc. are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong background in managing accounts, providing exceptional service to clients and maintaining relationships with carriers. The Commercial Insurance Account Manager will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, assisting in the placement of coverage, upselling our other business units and ensuring overall client satisfaction. Requirements

  • Must possess a valid property/casualty insurance license
  • Proven track record in account management/customer service, business development, and client retention, in the commercial insurance space
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to evaluate submissions and determine optimal solutions in alignment with market conditions and underwriting guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build client relationships and collaborate with team members
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Goal-driven with the ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team player

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique business needs and ensuring their satisfaction with our services
  • Oversee the daily management of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, policy changes, endorsements, and claims reporting
  • Work with brokers, underwriters, and insurance carriers to place and secure appropriate coverage for clients, ensuring policies are in compliance with client needs
  • Advise clients on risk management strategies and insurance coverages to mitigate potential risks
  • Proactively manage the retention of accounts and identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional services and coverages to meet client needs
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of client interactions, coverage details, and policy documentation
  • Assist clients with claims procedures, providing guidance and ensuring timely follow-up for resolution
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners, including sales, operations and underwriting, to ensure seamless service delivery and optimal client outcomes
