About The Position

Marsh McLennan Agency is seeking an Account Manager for their Real Estate/Hospitality Commercial Lines team. This role involves building and maintaining client and carrier relationships, assisting clients and teammates with service inquiries, and managing the renewal process for assigned clients. The team specializes in Real Estate & Hospitality (REH) and supports clients nationwide, managing a portfolio of premium relationships averaging above $1,000,000 annually. This position offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated business with access to extensive carrier relationships and industry expertise.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training.
3+ years of commercial insurance industry experience.
Property and Casualty insurance license.
Exceptional client relations skills: strategic communication, service excellence, and problem-solving orientation.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/management systems.

Nice To Haves

Demonstrated success in a specialized industry vertical or niche market.
Advanced degree or professional designation (CPCU, ARM, etc.).
Experience with Requests for Proposal (RFP) management.
Track record of relationship-building and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain key client and carrier relationships.
Assist assigned clients and teammates with service questions related to administration, billing, and claims issues.
Monitor and manage the renewal process for assigned clients.
Provide analysis and recommendation of coverage needs.
Prepare and provide marketing information.
Complete the implementation process.
Create premium allocations.
Schedule and conduct meetings.
Prepare and deliver forms to clients.
Attend seminars, classes, client, and insurance carrier meetings to stay up-to-date on products and legislative changes.
Participate in other projects as needed.
