About The Position
Established agency seeking a detail-oriented person who demonstrates clear knowledge and understanding of commercial insurance coverage. This role involves servicing a large, established book of business, preparing proposals, policy summaries, and reviews, and reviewing applications and contracts for accuracy. The position also includes handling new and renewal business, working with multiple carriers (both admitted and non-admitted), and ensuring retention for all assigned accounts.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of multiple lines of commercial coverage
- Prior experience in a client-facing role, building and maintaining relationships
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team to support sales and drive agency revenue
- Apply problem-solving techniques to various issues, including cancellations, claims, renewal issues, audits, receivables, and carrier issues
- Experience working in an independent brokerage setting
- Must carry an active P&C license
