Commercial Installer Warehouse Racking
About The Position
J & J Companies has an immediate need for qualified Installers for our Commercial Division. We will train! This role is ideal for individuals interested in the construction field who prefer working indoors, enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and achieving a sense of accomplishment through teamwork. The position involves occasional travel and working at various job sites. J & J Companies, a premier maintenance and installation service provider, is seeking qualified Installers to join our Commercial Division. Our Install teams build, install, and repair pallet racking systems and other steel structures inside distribution centers, warehouses, and other commercial spaces. We are looking for someone with a willingness to work hard and learn new things. These positions report directly to the project locations via company transportation.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work from heights
- A pre-hire background check and drug screen required
Nice To Haves
- General construction (carpentry, concrete, drywall, demolition or steel)
- General laborer/warehouse experience
- Ability to read floor plans and layouts
- Forklift and/or scissor lift experience
Responsibilities
- Build, install, and repair pallet racking systems and other steel structures inside distribution centers, warehouses, and other commercial spaces.
- Work at project locations, reporting directly via company transportation.
- Occasional travel and working in a variety of jobsites.
