About The Position

Culligan of West Reading, an award-winning franchise, is seeking a Commercial Installation Technician to join their highly recognized and successful team. With over 87 years of success in the PA region, Culligan is one of the world's most recognized leaders in water quality solutions. The company is currently expanding and looking for dedicated individuals to grow with them. This role involves performing diagnostics and analysis to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently, installing, upgrading, and maintaining water treatment equipment, and completing related paperwork accurately and promptly. The technician will also assist with the delivery and installation of products and equipment, maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment, and communicate positively with customers and co-workers. Adherence to all safety rules and Culligan policies is required. The role demands the ability to travel daily and stay on the job until completion, with willingness to be on-call as per contract requirements. Demonstrated ability to self-manage, work independently, and remotely is also essential.

Requirements

  • Appropriate, valid driver’s license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of the city area where you would be working
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written)
  • Subject to a DOT physical (at time of hire and every two years after), a drug screen and a background check in accordance with state and Federal laws
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a multitasker with strong troubleshooting skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in plumbing, electrical, and electronics is preferred.
