About The Position
Everon is seeking a Commercial Install Tech I to install commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems. This role involves providing reliable, high-quality customer support, instructing customers on system operation, and performing system testing and signal verification. The technician will also maintain truck stock/inventory, perform new system installations, upgrades, and additions, and ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks by organizing technical resources. The position requires completing and submitting all required documentation in a timely manner, demonstrating a strong work ethic, and being detail-oriented. Other projects may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
- One or more years of experience.
- Working knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
- Working knowledge of local/national codes.
- Ability to read drawings and pull wires accordingly.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to clear a pre-employment drug screening.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English.
- Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes.
- Requires 25 % to 50 % proficiency in Everon Commercial’s Tier 1 product offerings.

- Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
