About The Position

Everon is seeking a Commercial Install Tech I to install commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems. This role involves providing reliable, high-quality customer support, instructing customers on system operation, and performing system testing and signal verification. The technician will also maintain truck stock/inventory, perform new system installations, upgrades, and additions, and ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks by organizing technical resources. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to complete assigned projects.

Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• One or more years of experience.
• Working knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom and access control systems.
• Working knowledge of local/national codes.
• Ability to read drawings and pull wires accordingly.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to clear a pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English.
• Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes.
• Requires 25 % to 50 % proficiency in Everon Commercial’s Tier 1 product offerings.

Responsibilities

• Installs commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems.
• Provides reliable, high quality customer support.

• Maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
• Performs new system installations, upgrades, and additions.
• Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
• Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
