Commercial Install Master Tech
About The Position
Everon is seeking a Commercial Install Master Tech to lead the installation of commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems. This role requires an ability to mentor and teach others, provide high-quality customer support, and perform system testing and instruction. The technician will also be responsible for maintaining truck stock, performing new system installations and upgrades, and ensuring efficient task execution through the organization of technical resources. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential, along with the completion of assigned projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
- Five or more years of experience.
- Mastery knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, fire systems, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems.
- Full knowledge of local/national codes.
- Strong communication/leadership skills when working with others.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screening.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprint, schematics, diagrams, policies, procedures, etc. as presented in English.
- Must obtain and retain any specific product certifications and/or licenses that are required by national, state and local codes.
- Requires 75 % to 100 % proficiency in Everon Commercial’s Tier 1 product offerings.

Responsibilities
- Installs/Leads the installation of commercial alarm, fire, CCTV, and Card Access systems.
- Must have an ability to proctor, coach, and teach others.
- Provides reliable, high quality customer support.
- Performs customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
- Performs system testing and signal verification.
- Maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
- Performs new system installations, upgrades, and additions.
- Organizes and utilizes technical resources, information, material, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks.
- Monitors and ensures the progress and completion of assigned tasks.
- Completes and submits all required task-related activities, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
- Must complete other projects, as assigned.
