This position has typical work hours Monday – Friday from 7:30AM – 5:00PM. The Inside Tire Technician is responsible for mounting, dismounting and balancing heavy service truck tires, along with passenger and light truck tires on site at Parrish Tire. Employees in this position will be working both indoors and outdoors and must be focused on both safety and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

1-2 years of experience as a tire technician
Dependable - Employee must be reliable, responsible and trustworthy, and complete all assigned obligations.
Attention to Detail - Employee must be thorough in completing tasks and must always be aware of potential safety issues.
Cooperation - Employee must be pleasant with others on the job and display a good-natured, cooperative attitude.
Integrity - Employee is required to be honest and ethical.
Communication - Employee must provide courteous and clear written and verbal communication with customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

Mount and dismount new/used and retreaded tires on heavy service equipment, passenger trucks and light duty trucks.
Balance tires utilizing appropriate equipment.
Communicate safety concerns, company vehicle issues and customer problems with service manager or store manager immediately.
Mount and dismounting of new/used customer wheels from customer fleets.
Responsible for various types of tire repairs.
Understand customer base and profiles.
Keep service area clean to maintain a safe work environment.
Responsible for following all safety regulations, processes and procedures required by Parrish Tire Company, TIA, OSHA and NCDOL.
Understand tire design and tread patterns.
Must become (TIA) Certified. This certification and training will be provided by Parrish Tire Company if not already obtained.
