About The Position

Provide HVAC system and application support for the commercial sales operation while applying the accumulated technical skills developed in the academic environment. This role involves pricing call-in replacement work, monitoring and responding to requests, entering orders, submittals, and coordinating pick-up or delivery. The position also handles responding to quote requests from a dedicated Quick Quote phone line, entering orders in vendor systems (Sales Pro/Quote Builder, SAP, Trend), and estimating plan and spec jobs under $25,000 as needed. The Commercial Inside Sales representative will act as an expert for parts counter questions regarding commercial equipment and assist BSR/TM questions outside the residential scope. Additionally, the role requires seeking out training opportunities to expand product knowledge and enhance the customer's experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office
  • Proven multitask skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Work cooperatively with others
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years Administrative Assistant experience
  • 2 years’ experience in the HVAC industry
  • 2 years customer service experience
  • SAP experience

Responsibilities

  • Seek out training opportunities to expand product knowledge and understand processes to enhance the customer’s experience.
