About The Position

This individual is responsible for supporting various loan originations systems. They will ensure accuracy while meeting established service level agreements and benchmarks, and ensure total document and data integrity attributes to comply with CECL data points. The role involves responding to internal and external customer inquiries with exemplary customer service in the established time frame, collaborating with key strategic partners, and providing support for system releases and testing of new products and services. The administrator will troubleshoot issues and challenges, lead acquisition activities, and remain current on relevant system enhancements and updates. They will also maintain updates to department procedures and user guides, serve as back-up in the absence of the department manager, and participate in a leading role on behalf of the department in bank-wide projects. Additionally, they will participate in department talent recruiting efforts and interviewing processes, and design, develop, and facilitate department training. This role also ensures compliance with Northwest’s policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations, and requires navigation of Microsoft Office Software, computer applications, and software specific to the department to maximize technology tools and gain efficiency. The position involves working as part of a team and with on-site equipment. Additional responsibilities include staying current on pending and proposed regulatory changes, supporting the department manager with audit-related questions, and supporting disaster recovery testing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Finance
  • 6 - 8 years of Banking experience in the area of lending
  • 6 - 8 years of Customer Service experience
  • Experience as a System Administrator for nCino, Baker Hill, or LaserPro
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships among team members and participate in solving problems and making decisions
  • Ability to present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in a manner appropriate to the audience, whether oral or written
  • Ability to actively listen to what others are saying to achieve understanding, sharing information with others and facilitating the open exchange of ideas and information
  • Ability to establish courses of action for self to accomplish specific goals, develop and use tracking systems for monitoring own work progress, and effectively use resources such as time and information
  • Ability to make right decisions based on perceptive and analytical processes, practicing good judgment in gray areas
  • Knowledge of commercial and small business loan products, credit policy, compliance, and regulatory issues
  • Efficient written and verbal communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to operate within a defined scope of responsibilities and understand when to escalate to leadership
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks without compromising quality
  • Ability to look for ways to help customers without introducing risk to Northwest
  • Ability to collaborate on solutions and provide appropriate feedback as needed
  • Advanced Certified Administrator (Within 6 months)
  • Certified Administrator (Within 6 months)

Responsibilities

  • Lead any acquisition activities as needed
  • Remain current on relevant system enhancements and updates
  • Maintain updates to department procedures and user guides
  • Serve as back-up in the absence of the department manager
  • Participate in a leading role on behalf of department in bank-wide projects
  • Participate in department talent recruiting efforts and interviewing process
  • Design, develop and facilitate department training
