Commercial/Industrial Field Ammonia Refrigeration Technician
About The Position
We are adding to our team due to growth and looking for Refrigeration Technicians who want consistent work, solid pay, and a place where they can actually build a long-term career. This role is field-based, working on a variety of commercial refrigeration equipment across multiple sites. No two days look exactly the same, and that’s the point. You’ll be out in the field handling service calls, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. Some days are quick fixes, others require deeper troubleshooting — either way, you’re the one diagnosing the issue and getting systems back up and running.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with commercial refrigeration
- Ability to troubleshoot and think independently in the field
- EPA Universal Certification
- A solid work ethic and reliability
Nice To Haves
- Rack experience is a bonus, not a requirement
Responsibilities
- Handling service calls, maintenance, and repairs on commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
- Diagnosing issues and getting systems back up and running.
- Working on walk-ins, reach-ins, and display cases.
- Working on ice machines and similar equipment.
- Working on refrigeration systems with integrated controls.
- Working on larger or more complex systems as experience grows.
