Requirements
- 4+ years of HVAC sheet metal fabrication or mechanical construction experience preferred
- Ability to read blueprints and understand HVAC layouts
- Experience fabricating and assembling ductwork and sheet metal components
- Knowledge of HVAC materials, and building codes
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, brakes, shears, and other fabrication equipment
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to safety
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Stable work history and reliable attendance
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and assemble HVAC ductwork, fittings, hangers, and related mechanical systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and construction documents
- Measure, cut, form, and assemble sheet metal components using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment
- Work closely with foremen, technicians, plumbers, and other trades on commercial construction projects
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
