About The Position

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service Manager to support daily service operations and lead a team of HVAC service technicians. This role combines HVAC technical expertise, team leadership, customer service, scheduling, and operational coordination.

Requirements

Strong HVAC service background, including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Commercial HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems experience preferred.
Previous HVAC supervisory or service management experience strongly preferred.
Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Ability to read HVAC diagrams, plans, and technical manuals.
High school diploma or GED required; HVAC technical training preferred.
HVAC Journeyman License and EPA certification preferred.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Assist with daily HVAC service department operations and technician scheduling.
Coordinate service calls, repairs, maintenance agreements, labor, materials, and equipment.
Provide leadership, mentoring, and technical support to HVAC service technicians.
Monitor technician productivity, staffing, workload, and labor costs.
Review work orders, scopes of work, job progress, and billing.
Communicate with customers and resolve service concerns professionally.
Coordinate with sales and management on purchasing, manpower, and operational needs.
Assist with maintenance agreement pricing and service recommendations.
Ensure work complies with applicable HVAC codes, permits, licensing requirements, and industry standards.
Identify opportunities to improve productivity, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
