Commercial HVAC/R Technician
About The Position
Ace Service Co. is seeking experienced Commercial HVAC/R Technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial refrigeration systems, including ice machines, walk-in coolers, freezers, and HVAC units. The role involves performing diagnostics and repairs, responding to emergency calls, conducting preventative maintenance, and providing excellent customer service. Technicians will also be responsible for communicating with customers and internal teams, rotating on-call shifts, identifying new business opportunities, maintaining service vehicles, managing parts, completing paperwork, and attending training. Ace Service Company has been providing service excellence since 1947 and serves Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Southern New Hampshire with factory-trained and CFESA certified technicians.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems
- EPA Universal Certification
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, punctual, and organized work ethic
- Must be 18 years of age
- Completion of a successful background check and drug screen
- Driving record must align with our safety standards

Responsibilities
- Perform expert diagnostics and repairs on commercial refrigeration and ice machines
- Respond to emergency service calls and conduct routine preventative maintenance
- Deliver outstanding service with courtesy and professionalism
- Communicate effectively with customers, dispatchers, managers, and sales staff
- Rotate through after-hours and weekend on-call shifts
- Spot new business opportunities while servicing existing accounts
- Maintain your service vehicle and manage parts orders
- Complete all required paperwork and attend ongoing training
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned
