About The Position

The Commercial HVAC Proposal Specialist will be responsible for estimating, selling, and managing projects, with a primary focus on new construction and design-build projects. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Estimate, sell, and help manage projects with a complete and comprehensive understanding of requirements and specifications, mainly for new construction and design build projects.
  • Understand equipment capabilities and ancillary materials required for proper project completion.
  • Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
  • Manage estimating and proposal processes, including pricing, costing, and quoting.
  • Prepare bill of materials and work with the sales department to secure vendor pricing.
  • Compute costs and enter figures into SalesForce bid proposal software.
  • Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
  • Formulate customer job quotes, expedite customer orders, and submit orders via telephone, email, and quoting software.
  • Prepare submittals for customers in a timely manner.
  • Elevate professional growth and development through continued education in alignment with the industry.
  • Attend vendor-sponsored product and technical training classes when appropriate and approved.
