About The Position

Kelso Industries, a nationwide provider of HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, refrigeration, and electrical solutions, is seeking HVAC Preventative Maintenance Technicians for its Utah operations. Automated Mechanical, a part of Kelso Industries, focuses on providing technicians with the necessary tools, training, and support for career growth. This full-time field role involves maintaining commercial and industrial HVAC systems across various building types.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC technical training or certification preferred.
1+ years of experience in an HVAC Maintenance or Service role.
Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving ability.
Effective communicator with solid customer service instincts.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites.

Nice To Haves

EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.
NATE certification or equivalent.
Experience with digital service tools or mobile work order platforms.

Responsibilities

Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections to keep systems running efficiently and extend equipment life.
Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues across a range of HVAC platforms.
Read and work from wiring diagrams, schematics, and manufacturer documentation.
Keep clients and team members informed on service findings and recommended next steps.
Maintain thorough service records covering work completed, parts used, and system conditions.
Perform all work in compliance with safety standards, applicable codes, and company policy.
