BGIS ITS is seeking a dedicated Commercial HVAC Installer Technician to join our team in Wilmington, DE. Requirements

At least 3-5 years with demonstrated experience in system replacement installations.
Strong foundation in HVAC systems and equipment installation, including electrical and mechanical components.
Proficient in pipefitting/brazing/soldering techniques ensuring proper installation and connection of refrigerant piping.
Capable of identifying and resolving issues during installation.
Excellent customer service skills in communicating with clients and addressing concerns.
Efficiently manages time to meet project deadlines.
Flexible in adapting to different HVAC systems, brands, and evolving technologies.
Prioritizes safety protocols and adheres to industry guidelines.
Works well in a team environment, coordinating with other professionals.
Adheres to established processes and practices, including environmental, health safety, security, and fire protection.
Ability to climb ladders, lift up to 75 lbs., and maneuver in confined spaces.
EPA Certification required.
Must be able and willing to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
Subject to drug, background, and driver’s license checks.
High school diploma or GED.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems.
Familiarity with tools and equipment for HVAC installation and maintenance.
Physical fitness and manual dexterity.
Ability to follow instructions.
Good communication and customer service skills.

Completion of a relevant apprenticeship may be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, replace parts, and install HVAC systems.
Work with a support team including dispatchers, coordinators, supervisors, and technical resources.
Be equipped with a fully stocked service van, iPad, iPhone, and necessary PPE.
HVAC Experience: At least 3-5 years with demonstrated experience in system replacement installations.
Technical Proficiency: Strong foundation in HVAC systems and equipment installation, including electrical and mechanical components.

Time Management: Efficiently manages time to meet project deadlines.
Adaptability: Flexible in adapting to different HVAC systems, brands, and evolving technologies.

Team Collaboration: Works well in a team environment, coordinating with other professionals.
Compliance: Adheres to established processes and practices, including environmental, health safety, security, and fire protection.

Benefits

Competitive Hourly Rate: $40–$50 per hour ($83,200–$104,000 annual salary base off a 40-hour work week)
Overtime is authorized: with approval from the Supervisor
Per diem: $55 per day and lodging will be provided for authorized out-of-town travel and service.
Paid Time Off: 48 hours (increases to 168 hours with tenure)
Paid Holidays: 7 per year (New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas)
