Requirements

  • Commercial HVAC systems installation, maintenance, and repair experience.
  • Experience with rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and packaged systems.
  • Preventative maintenance experience on HVAC equipment.
  • Troubleshooting complex HVAC system malfunctions (electrical, mechanical, refrigeration).
  • Ability to work with MEP group for estimating and proposals.
  • Coordination and resource sharing with other division managers.
  • Onboarding and technician retention support.
  • Management and tracking of personnel training and continuing education.
  • Accurate weekly timecard entry for self and assigned employees.

Responsibilities

  • Installs, maintains, and repairs commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and packaged systems.
  • Performs preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Diagnoses and troubleshoots complex HVAC system malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
  • Works with MEP group to estimate and create proposals for potential Service work. Follow up pm proposals to secure and perform the associated work with assigned personnel in the HVAC service and MEP group as a whole.
  • Works closely with other CFS division managers, coordinate strategy and share resources to bring the greatest benefit to the overall organization.
  • Engages in the onboarding process to support growth and promote technician retention.
  • Manages, tracks and supports division personnel to ensure that proper training and/or continuing education is completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensures weekly timecards are properly entered for self and assigned employees.
