About The Position
Comfort Technologies is seeking Commercial HVAC Ductwork Installers to join our growing installation team. We're hiring both experienced Lead Installers and Installer Helpers who are passionate about quality workmanship and want to build a long-term career in commercial HVAC. Whether you're an experienced installer who can lead projects and read blueprints or you're looking to grow your skills alongside an experienced team, we'd love to hear from you.
Requirements
- 3+ years of commercial HVAC ductwork installation experience (Lead Installers).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings (Lead Installers).
- Experience leading installation crews preferred (Lead Installers).
- Strong understanding of commercial sheet metal and duct installation practices (Lead Installers).
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Lead Installers).
- Basic knowledge of commercial HVAC ductwork or sheet metal installation (Installer Helpers).
- Own basic hand tools (Installer Helpers).
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn (Installer Helpers).
- Valid driver's license preferred (Installer Helpers).
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds (All Candidates).
- Comfortable working on ladders, lifts, and active commercial construction sites (All Candidates).
- Reliable, safety-focused, and team-oriented (All Candidates).
- Commitment to producing high-quality work (All Candidates).
Nice To Haves
- Experience leading installation crews preferred (Lead Installers).
Responsibilities
- Install commercial HVAC ductwork on new construction and retrofit projects.
- Install rectangular, spiral, and sheet metal duct systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings (Lead Installers).
- Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing ductwork.
- Coordinate with project managers and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
- Operate hand and power tools safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site.
- Ensure installations meet company quality standards and project specifications.
- Lead and mentor less experienced installers (Lead Installers).
