About The Position

AC Corporation is now accepting applications for our HVAC Apprenticeship Program, an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience while earning industry-recognized certifications. This state-approved program, developed in cooperation with the U.S. Department of Labor and the NC Community College System, is designed to train the next generation of skilled HVAC professionals. APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED THROUGH JUNE 30th WITH EXPECTED START DATE OF AUGUST 10TH. The program involves 6,000 - 8,000 on-the-job training (OJT) hours, approximately 3-4 years, and utilizes a hybrid model combining competency-based and time-based learning. Apprentices will earn while they learn, starting at $20/hr with scheduled wage increases up to $25/hr upon completion, plus a stipend for attending class. Apprentices are eligible for the full benefit program the 1st of the month following 30 days of employment, including medical and dental benefits, 401K after 3 months, and a company service vehicle. Additionally, apprentices are eligible for up to $5,250 per year in educational assistance through AC Corporation’s Sponsorship Program. Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or graduated from an A.A.S. degree program for HVAC
• A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn
• Basic mechanical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to work in a team and follow safety procedures
• Clean driving record and reliable transportation
• Pass a drug screen and background check
