About The Position
Waste Connections is seeking a Commercial Front Load Driver (Garbage Truck Driver) to join their team in Clearwater, FL. This full-time, year-round position involves operating a garbage truck on a specified route, requiring regular heavy lifting and climbing in and out of the truck. The role is responsible for safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, with a start time of 5:00 am, and Saturdays three times a month, resulting in approximately a 50-55 hour work week.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL.
- At least 2 years of Front Load work experience.
- Stable work history, preferably in a driver position.
- Able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Able and willing to work outside in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Operating a garbage truck on a specified route.
- Safely, efficiently, and courteously serving customers.
