About The Position

Lithia Ford Lincoln of Boise is looking for experienced Service Technicians to join their team at their Commercial Fleet Service Center. They offer competitive pay based on experience, with a pay range for experienced A & B techs from $22-40 flat rate hour and for experienced C & D techs from $17-20 flat rate hour. There is no cap on hours for self-motivated technicians, and they emphasize that there is never a shortage of work. The Commercial Fleet Service Center operates Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 6 PM. The shop features 10 bays (9 main-line and 1 quick-lube), parts runners, and porters to assist with vehicle movement. It is equipped with state-of-the-art shop equipment and all Ford specialty tools. The shop is heated and has swamp coolers, with excellent lighting. Requirements

Prior automotive repair experience preferred.
ASE and manufacturer certification, desired.
A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Must be able to provide and maintain an inventory of normal mechanics tools.

Responsibilities

Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with Lithia and manufacturer standards.
Diagnose cause of malfunction.
Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements.
Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
Document work performed on repair order, record test procedures/results & time, per company recording & clocking procedures.
Responsible for providing and maintaining an inventory of normal mechanics tools.
