Commercial Finance Manager
About The Position
Whirlpool is seeking a Finance Manager, Laundry Category to join the Commercial Finance Team, North America Region (NAR). This person will be the lead of the Laundry Category for both the commercial and residential business. This includes setting the finance strategy, providing full P&L support for category leadership. He/she will also partner with the US category marketing team to develop and execute the Category strategy for the US Core business, and act as a liaison between Laundry General Manager and cost finance teams. There is plenty of variety in this role. Today, you will work onsite at our Riverview Campus in Michigan driving high visibility and trade-off decisions on investment. Tomorrow, you might be working cross-functionally on the Commercial Business Planning roadmap. This role is fully onsite, Monday through Friday, in Benton Harbor, Michigan. A comprehensive relocation package is available for eligible candidates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting

Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders to lead decisions focused on maximizing profitable growth across the US Core business in the laundry category
- Drive standardization, efficiencies and automation in Commercial Finance category reporting across US Core
- Enhance reporting to deliver actionable insights which influence business decisions and financial outcomes
- Develop Category Long Range Plans and annual plan targets in line with Long term value creation goals
- Connect Category Business teams for data-driven forecast adjustments and planning decisions
- Partner with NAR finance peers and global peers to share & adopt best practices across One Finance
- Communicate financial results and business insights to senior leadership
