About The Position

Protect Environmental is seeking a Commercial Field Technician to join their Radon Mitigation team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining radon mitigation systems, educating customers on equipment usage, troubleshooting field issues, and ensuring all work adheres to company standards. The company's mission is to create healthy, safe, clean, and sustainable indoor environments across the United States.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1+ year of experience in construction, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or building maintenance is a plus
Good physical health and ability to perform hands-on construction work
Capable of occasionally working in crawl spaces, in attics and on roofs
Must be able to regularly lift 60 pounds
Ability to stand on your feet up to 8 hours a day
Ability to obtain NRPP certification for radon mitigation within required timeline
Mechanically inclined and enjoy hands-on work
Enjoy traveling regularly out of state 100% of the workweek
Take pride in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
Can work independently and follow established procedures
Dependable, organized, and punctual
Comfortable working in crawl spaces, attics, and on ladders
Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Nice To Haves

1 or more years of experience in Construction, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, or building maintenance is preferred

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain radon mitigation systems
Perform diagnostics, initial walk-through evaluations and post-installation testing
Educate customers on system operation and maintenance
Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and warehouse space
Occasionally perform light digging or excavation at job sites
Document job details according to company policy
Represent Protect Environmental in a professional, customer-focused manner
Respond promptly to customer concerns and service needs
