Commercial Estimator - Plumbing Supply

This position is responsible for creating quotes and assessing product availability for potential customer jobs in a timely manner and maintaining accurate records. Use your technical knowledge, service orientation, and customer knowledge to build healthy partnerships with our customers while also maintaining strong profit margins. Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior plumbing and heating industry sales experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer needs, assess product availability, research special orders, and create accurate price quotes/bid documents.
- Advise customers on project, equipment, or application requirements.
- Timely respond to customer inquiries and provide additional information as needed.
- Ensure that potential risk factors have been evaluated and reviewed with senior management.
- Ensure all documents are prepared, processed, and maintained correctly and in accordance with project timeline.
- Communicate with all Commercial Sales Associates to ensure accurate quotes and modify as necessary.
- Enlist key material/equipment vendors to provide technical and costing support.
- Attend educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; and establish personal networks.
- Keep current on changes and trends in methods of construction, equipment, materials, and construction costs.
- Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.
