About The Position
A title insurance company in the Houston market is hiring an experienced Commercial Escrow Officer. Highly experienced Residential Escrow Officers with mixed commercial experience who want to move into commercial work, as well as Senior Commercial Real Estate Paralegals, are encouraged to apply. Inquiries are strictly confidential. The role establishes new commercial accounts and acts as escrow agent while managing escrow records and files. It manages a portfolio of assigned commercial customers and brokers, provides high-level customer service, and develops ongoing referrals from existing customers and brokers. The officer maintains records in the escrow accounting system and customer database, reviews escrow reports against escrow records for accuracy of posted transactions, and manages multi-state and multi-site transactions.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of Commercial Escrow experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Ability to shift priorities easily.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and function as a team member.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn and leverage modern title production procedures and technology.

Responsibilities
