About The Position
DNB Electric, Inc., a well-established Electrical Contracting Company serving the Midlands, SC area, is seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Electrician to join our dedicated team. We are a growing Company and our Employees will grow right along with us. This role involves installing, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings, conducting inspections, performing maintenance, and collaborating with project managers and contractors while adhering to all safety regulations and codes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician, with a strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and components.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to diagnose electrical issues accurately.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical codes, safety practices, and regulations.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact professionally with contractors and team members.
- Valid SC driver’s license with a clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including wiring, lighting, power distribution, and control systems.
- Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics to identify electrical malfunctions or areas for improvement.
- Perform routine maintenance and preventive measures to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of electrical systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to understand project requirements and provide efficient electrical solutions.
- Adhere to local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Read blueprints, run conduit, wire and terminate devices.
