Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial and/or industrial electrical work, with expertise in high and low-voltage systems.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, including conduit benders, wire pullers, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of NEC standards and local electrical codes, ensuring compliant and safe installations.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
  • Construction site experience, including familiarity with frame carpentry and site safety protocols.
  • A valid Ohio driver’s license with a clean driving record (must remain insurable under company vehicle insurance).
  • A drive to deliver top-tier service and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Install and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting fixtures (interior/exterior), receptacles, switches, and equipment disconnects, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Perform raceway installations, working with EMT, PVC, GRC conduit, MC cable, and NM “Romex” cabling to meet project specs.
  • Execute grounding installations, ensuring proper wiring, rods, and fittings for code-compliant safety.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to deliver precise, high-quality work.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in high- and low-voltage systems using tools like multimeters and circuit testers.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other trades on construction sites, adhering to NEC standards and OSHA safety protocols.
