About The Position
Skillforce is hiring Commercial Electricians for ongoing project work in Fredericksburg, Virginia. As a Commercial Electrician, you will be responsible for conduit, wire, panels, and troubleshooting on active commercial construction sites including schools, hospitals, and commercial buildings. You will work directly for established commercial electrical contractors on first shift with consistent hours and weekly pay. Requirements
- Five or more years of commercial electrical experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently from prints.
- Own a standard set of electrician hand tools.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial fit-out or new construction experience is a plus.
- A Virginia journeyman electrician license is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Bend, mount, and install conduit from prints on active commercial sites.
- Pull wire and install cable tray, strut, and supports.
- Set panels, gear, devices, and fixtures to plan.
- Land terminations and make up connections.
- Troubleshoot commercial circuits and correct issues on site.
- Work alongside general contractors, supervisors, and other trades on schools, hospitals, and office and retail buildouts.
