Skillforce is hiring Journeyman-level Commercial Electricians for steady, ongoing commercial construction projects across the Richmond, VA metro — including schools, hospitals, and commercial buildings. We partner directly with established commercial electrical contractors, so you get consistent first-shift hours, weekly pay, and benefits. Requirements
- 2 or more years commercial electrical work
- Read blueprints and work from prints
- Own a standard set of hand tools
- Pass a drug screen and background check
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial fit-out or new construction a plus
- Virginia journeyman electrician license preferred, not required for all roles
Responsibilities
- Bend, mount, and install conduit from prints
- Pull wire and run cable tray and supports
- Set panels, gear, devices, and fixtures
- Land terminations and make connections
- Troubleshoot commercial circuits on site
- Work alongside GCs, supervisors, and other trades on commercial builds (schools, hospitals, office/retail buildouts)
