About The Position

- The Foreman at Beckstrom Electric Co Master will oversee and manage electrical projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. The Foreman will lead a team of electricians, coordinating tasks and resources to meet project deadlines and client specifications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in electrical systems preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Proven track record of managing electrical projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to electrical systems.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of electricians and technicians.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail to ensure quality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Proficient in using electrical tools and equipment, as well as familiarity with industry-standard software for project management and documentation.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations, ensuring all work meets compliance standards.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct a team of electricians on various projects, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Plan, schedule, and assign tasks to team members, optimizing workflow and resource allocation.
  • Inspect and evaluate work in progress and completed work to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and provide technical guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress, materials used, and labor hours, providing reports as needed.
  • Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the course of a project.
  • Train and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any deficiencies.
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, promoting a safe and productive work environment.
