About The Position

Solid Rock Recruiting is partnered with a growing and well-established electrical contractor that is actively seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator to join its team. This opportunity is ideal for an estimator who combines strong estimating skills with hands-on field knowledge and enjoys working on design-build, tenant improvement, service, and commercial construction projects. The company has a strong backlog of work, long-standing customer relationships, and a collaborative team environment.

Requirements

10+ years of electrical construction experience preferred.
Previous electrical field experience strongly preferred.
Experience estimating commercial electrical projects.
Ability to estimate projects independently with minimal supervision.
Experience with design-build projects and conceptual estimating.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation methods, labor productivity, and material costs.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Prepare estimates and proposals for commercial electrical projects ranging from tenant improvements and restaurant build-outs to larger design-build projects.
Conduct site walks and collaborate directly with customers to develop budgets and conceptual estimates.
Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to produce accurate bids and pricing.
Assist with value engineering and design-build solutions during preconstruction.
Work closely with project managers, field personnel, and the estimating team to ensure successful project execution.
Support both negotiated and competitive bid opportunities.
