About The Position

Performance Electrical Contracting is a commercial electrical contractor that builds crews who do it right the first time. We’re growing, and we’re looking for a proven foreman in the Melbourne area to lead our multifamily project from rough-in through final. You’ll run the job on site: leading the crew, driving production, coordinating with the GC and other trades, and making sure the work passes inspection. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows multifamily construction and takes ownership of the outcome.

Requirements

5+ years of commercial electrical experience, with at least 2 years as a foreman or lead
Multifamily experience (apartments, condos, mixed-use) strongly preferred
Strong working knowledge of the NEC
Journeyman license preferred
OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred
Ability to read blueprints and manage to a project schedule
Clear communicator who can lead a crew and work well with GCs
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

Lead and direct a crew of journeymen, apprentices, and helpers on a multifamily commercial project
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specs; lay out work accordingly
Oversee installation of service, distribution, feeders, branch circuits, unit wiring, and low-voltage/fire alarm coordination
Plan daily and weekly manpower, material needs, and production goals
Coordinate with the General Contractor, other trades, and PEC project management
Schedule and walk inspections; resolve corrections quickly
Enforce jobsite safety, lead toolbox talks, and maintain OSHA compliance
Track and submit timesheets, daily reports, change-order documentation, and material requests
Train and develop crew members and hold the team to PEC’s quality standards
